The Story Behind the Photo
After a rainy long weekend in August, 2008, one of my friends decided to escape the campsite early on the last morning that we stayed. He’s easily one of the strongest paddlers I know, cutting through the water like one of the loons I had seen that morning on that very same lake. He finally decided to return after a little while, which prompted me to take advantage of a great image of a person in the wilderness.

beautiful , so very peaceful !
The sun on the canoe, the mist, the shadow-y trees. Great capturing!
oh this is wonderful and reminds me of days up at the cottage…just perfect!!!
This one looks so peaceful—love the mist in the background–great effect
